Member Benefits

Thre are several benefits to membership in the NPVA.

Directory Listings

Members have the opportunity to list their companies and services in the three NPVA directories – corporate, wedding, and event. The directories are randomly-rotating, which means that listings are randomly presented – NOT alphabetically – whenever someone opens the directory. This is a significant benefit to members whose companies and names do NOT start with the letter ‘A!”

Monthly Meetings

The NPVA holds ten meetings per year, and each is a terrific opportunity to network with other video professionals and to experience one or more educational programs – on the technical and business aspects of our industry. Presenters include industry reps, local and regional vendors, nationally-known experts, and experts from our own membership.

Each meeting includes a full dinner, networking, and presentations. Often there are raffle prizes as well.

VISTA Awards

Each member has the opportunity to enter his or her best work in the prestigious VISTA Awards, the annual competition that recognizes the best work by NPVA members in four categories.

The work done by the VISTA winners is always remarkable, and provides the membership with new ideas and inspiration.

Blog

NPVA members can also contribute articles to the website’s three blogs. The benefits of blogging are to educate the public on the importance of using video professional, to increase the search engine authority of the site – which makes it easier for the public to find, and to incorporate links back to authors’ websites.

You’re Invited

If you’d like to find out more about the NPVA, we invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings, which are held at the Holiday Inn – generally on the third Monday of each month (see next meeting date on the NPVA Home Page). There is an annual membership fee (click here to join), and a $20 monthly fee to help pay for dinners you attend. Non-members will pay a $40 fee per meeting. However, if a non-member joins after the meeting, $20 of their $40 fee will be applied towards their next meeting fee. Thus, a new member’s second meeting is free.
